Runners note anniversary

Pittsburgh Frontrunners, the Gay and Lesbian Running Club, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The anniversary is being noted by the creation of special t-shirts and by a banquet held in connection with The Great Race in September. Formed in 1989 by two members of the D.C. Frontrunners who re-located to Pittsburgh, the group meets at the Columbus Statue in Schenley Park Tuesdays and Thursday at 7pm and Saturdays at 9am.
